26 weeks

I attended my 5th baby shower for the season and I still have one more to attend at the end of Sept. Baby season is booming! If California wasn't so far away this would be baby shower number 6! Then I have to attend my own come October:)

Things are moving along...we sold the 3000GT, sad day...that old gal was with me for 9 years, gonna miss her....we ended up getting a Nissan Xterra....Jaxson should fit inside just right :)

This week I can clearly feel Jaxson moving...it was like right on my 26th week day he started a pushing and a moving. Such an amazing feeling. This week has also been the week of BACK PAIN. Definitely at it's worst right now...Im hoping I can get used to it soon...if not, I have a long road ahead of me. I cant believe Jaxson's arrival is coming SO soon. Only 14 more weeks until my delivery date, if he last's that long. You never know what God has in store...we could be having a Thanksgiving baby OR a Christmas baby.

Dustin will be leaving in a couple weeks for a Kansas hunting trip...he was very thankful to find a hunting season that allowed him to travel in September. Come November and December no more traveling :) He has been working very hard at his job and helping prepare our family for our baby boy. He is so good at making major decisions...thoughtful and prayerful in all that he does...I am blessed.

Come Sept. 27th our baby classes begin. I am looking forward to them, they not only prepare us for the delivery of our baby but it is also a Bible study for the two of us.

I have started back at the studio and love being back with the girls, those girls dont realize how much they are teaching me on a regular basis...they also love to poke and rub my growing belly. I am really looking forward to our dance year and it feels great to be back!

Welp better get some sleep...or shall I say "get some tossing and turning in with a dash of sleep."

Baby Quilt

Here is the quilt we are decorating the rest of the room around!

August Already!

Summer went by quickly as usual! I swear time flys and I feel so old...it is a childhood memory to think about how lOOONG summers would last :)

Well the first tri-mester was pretty tough on the morning sickness end...FINALLY the second trimester that part is OVER and I am so very thankful :) I can cook again and D is very happy about that :)

We have a due date Dec. 8th! I am hoping for a Thanksgiving baby, I dont want to last that long...but who knows :)

I am still in awe about how wonderful it is to know that you are in God's will and plan...He wouldnt have given us this baby if he didn't think it is exactly what we need right now and He surely knew we both needed a BOY...so exciting when you get glimpses of God's plan. We are blessed.

This must be the year for babies and boys...God has a plan for all these children...I pray they are all warriors for Christ!

So we have cleaned out our 2nd bedroom and have the crib and dresser set-up. I ordered a vintage western quilt and I am excited about decorating the rest of the room around it.

This morning Dustin and I were laying in bed and his arm was up against my stomach and he wakes up " I just felt the baby!!" Exciting moment :)

We are naming him Jaxson Ray Drew...and we cant wait to meet him!

Time Flys!!!

Wow! So many new things and such a wonderful journey! Well, the big news is we are having a baby!!! woohoo!! This will be the first grand baby on both sides of our family. I took a home pregnancy test near the end of March and bam that digital test said PREGNANT!!! I just stared at it...than Dustin and I stared at each other for about 30 minutes...than of course plan, plan, plan! I will never forget telling Dustin about everyone's reactions to our big news he said " wow...this is crazy!" Ha! Yes it is.....Such a blessing and I think so often, who are we to deserve this beautiful gift???? The first couple weeks started off extra sleepy for me, I was taking naps left and right! THAN the nausea set in.....yikes! I have had everything from night sickness, to afternoon sickness to currently morning sickness! I even tried medication and it still didn't work! These last couple days have been a better....I have been able to eat and I get it over with in the morning....
We had our first ultrasound last week and of course as soon as I saw the heartbeat on the screen tears came a rolling! Everyone asked what was Dustin doing??? I had no idea I knew if I looked at him my tears would only get worse :) We go back for our next ultrasound on May 25th. We will lock down a due date and get a more advanced test. We know for sure it is mid-December! Christmas Baby!

Other than the baby news I have started selling arbonne...which has been crazy successful in itself. I have achieved District manager in about 6 weeks and 1st step area manager in about 8! It is a joy to work for a company that sells products that not only work but also are good for you!!! We have created a great team here in Houston and look forward to what will be happening in the future.

Dustin has been working his tail off as usual...he is busy working at Dresser and of course still roping away! He is such a hard worker and great example for me :)

Hello March!

Wow, time goes by way too fast! Dustin and I celebrated our one year anniversary last month. We feel like we have been married so much longer than just a year yet we can't believe it has been a whole year, ha! We went to Fredericksburg and stayed in a cozy bed and breakfast. We did lots of shopping and plenty of relaxing. We had some great fine dining experiences as well!

We are back to reality, he is still at Dresser busier than ever and I am back at the studio. I have started a couple new adventures. I currently sell Scentsy! www.scentsy.us/monicadrew I am also dancing with Sugar Creek Dance Ministry.

We are doing Beth Moore's Breaking Free in Bible study at Sagemont and as always learning lots and loving it! Archie is doing well he celebrates his one year birthday this month and Stitch is working hard for Dustin at all of his ropings :)
